My copy of Windows is not activated

If you are receiving a message that says your copy of Windows needs to be activated here is some information on how to activate windows.

Open Windows Activation by clicking the Start button , right-clicking Computer, clicking Properties, and then clicking Activate Windows now.‌ If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

You can then select the method you want to use to activate.

If you have purchased a Vista or Windows 7product keyand had downgrade ofWindows XP installed and you are trying to reinstall XPyou will need to contact support for assistance.

Note: If you had XP installed and you used a non CTL XP restore CD Windows will not activate.
