High resolutions monitors with CBX1-7

I have an i7 CBX1-7 Chromebox, and I am quite smitten.  :)

I am attempting to use it with a Dell 2K monitor, 2560x1440 resolution.  I have used the HDMI port and can only get 1920x1080 to show up as an option.  I went HDMI to HDMI with no luck.  I have also tried HTML to DVI, also, no luck.  It works with both my PC and Mac desktops.

Is the Chromebox not capable of 2k or 4k resolution?
