If you need to check for and install software updates on your CTL® Chromebook NL71CT-L, follow these step-by-step instructions.
  • Battery level requirements:
     
  • minimum of 40% (not charging)
  •  
  • minimum of 20% (while charging)
  •  
  • A system update won't be received while roaming.
A system update can also be done over a Wi-Fi network.
  • Navigate: 
    Launcher 
    Settings
    .
  • Tap or click 
    About Chrome OS
    .
  • Tap or click 
    Check for updates
     then do one of the following:
     
  • If advised the software is up-to-date, tap or click 
    OK
    .
  •  
  • If a software update is available, tap or click 
    Continue
    .
